On this page, you will find a list of events from around the USJJF and the world of Ju-Jitsu. Not all events listed are sanctioned USJJF or JJIF events.

Host a seminar at your school!

US Ju-Jitsu Referee Clinic, US Ju-Jitsu Skills Seminar, USA Traditional Kodokan Judo Skills and Kodokan Kata Seminars

US JU-JITSU and USA KARATE Coaching/Competition Seminar - for competitors and coach/instructors
Dates: Saturday September 13, 2008 - First Session 9 AM to noon, Second Session 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Hickey Karate Center, 4540 Ritchie Road, Stow, Ohio 44224

Cost $35 for the course ($25 if only morning or afternoon session attended)
Coaching Certification for either organization $25 (must do both sessions to be eligible for certification)

Morning Session: Coaching Principles - Managing and Training your athletes for competition - or just to be better all around martial artists.

Afternoon Sessions: Choose one of two concurrent sessions.

Ju-Jitsu - Competing under the rules with Mike Piaser and Ben Deleon. Training methods and techniques to improve your competitive results.
Note: Youth Ju-Jitsu will be handled as a separate group.

Karate - Competing under the rules with Patrick Hickey and Mike Bukala.Training methods and techniques to improve your competitive results.
Note: Youth karate will be handled as a separate group

Saturday January 17th, 2009 9:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Registration, meet and greet, review of Ju-Jitsu Competition and The Ju-Jitsu Nationals.

12:30 - 6:30 p.m., Ju-Jitsu, and Traditional Kodokan Judo waza.

Course Fee: $100.00 for the camp, or $50.00 a day. Normal promotion fees apply.

2009 US Ju-Jitsu and USA Traditional Kodokan Judo Curriculum Course
(coinciding with the "Cherry Blossom Festival" in Washington DC)
Dates: Thursday thru Sunday, April 2-5, 2009 (4 Days)

Curriculum: US Ju-Jitsu and USA Traditional Kodokan Judo Knowledge & Skills for Rank Advancement including Kihon, Waza and Kata of Ju-Jitsu & Judo

Course Instructors: Shihan Bruce R. Bethers, President - USJJF, 8th Dan - Ju-Jitsu, 7th Dan - Karate & 7th Dan - Judo and Shihan David Parritt, 7th Dan - Ju-Jitsu &
7th Dan - Judo. Other Instructors to be announced.

Note: Course Fee includes Curriculum Booklets, Training (including Lectures, Video Presentations, Instruction in Skills, Practice Sessions on the Mat ), Refreshments, and Testing for Kyu / Dan Grades. Participants will receive a National Course "Completion Certificate" as well as "Rank Certification" for rank testing successfully completed. The standard promotion fees normally required for rank promotions will be waived for participants of this course.
