list of USA Karate dojos across the country. If you wish your
dojo to be listed, please contact
Patrick Hickey at
phickey@loveinsurance.com with the folowing information:
Exact name of dojo, Correct URL (webpage address), City and
State. Those dojos wishing to be listed as an official USA
Karate Certified Training Center, please advise. There is a cost
for this. There is no cost for the general listing.

1st Asian Martial Arts Games will be held on April 25th
- May 3rd in Bangkok, Thailand. Martial Arts to be
represented will be Jujitsu, Judo, Karate, Kickboxing,
Kurash, Muay Thai, Pencak Silat, Tae Kwon Do, and Wushu.
Jujitsu has received full recognition by the
Olympic
Council of Asia.

Dr. Paul Hoglund,
President of JJIF visits the Olympic Council of Asia
-
The General
Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) met in
China and duly elected its new office bearers and council
members. Dr.Paul G. Hoglund, President JJIF, has been elected as
member of the GAISF Council during the GAISF Sport Accord event,
held in Beijing, China, from 24 through 27 April 2007. Dr.
Hoglund's responsibilities encompass all issues and activities
related to "Sport for Development and Peace" and "Sport for
All". It goes without saying that this election deservedly
reflects Dr. Hoglund's enormous contribution and devotion to
sport. The entire JJIF family is proud for this honor and
looking forward to the continued progress of Ju-Jitsu Sports in
the World.
